Hey all. I just shipped a big update to bighelp in the public TestFlight. I can honestly say it's become my favorite way to use Hermes. I haven't used anything else lately.

I'm also super excited to say we've submitted bighelp to Apple, so it should be live in the App Store very soon. And as promised, everything stays 100% free and 100% open source.

Here's what's new.

Bots on the Agents tab

The Agents tab has a new "Bots" experience. Your agents show up as characters with their own look, so it feels less like picking a config profile and more like picking who you want to talk to. Pin your favorites and they get the big view at the top.

Hermes and Petdex avatars in the creation suite

The avatar creator now includes Hermes and Petdex options. Mix them with the existing parts, outfits and moves to give each agent its own personality. The avatar reacts to what the agent is really doing, so there are no fake "thinking" animations.

Agent templates

Not sure where to start? Choose a template and you'll have a working agent in a couple of taps, then adjust it from there. You don't need to write a system prompt from scratch.

Native Hermes secure credential vault

When your agent needs a password, API key or login, it asks through a native secure prompt on your phone. Secrets go straight into Hermes' credential vault and never show up in chat. You can also import existing logins from a CSV, and manage your existing vault items safely within the app.

Provider usage

See your usage and limits for most mainstream model providers installed on your host (Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, OpenRouter, OpenCode, Nous Portal and others) in one place.
